Patsy Rahn
Patsy Rahn spent eighteen years working in theatre, film and
television in Toronto, New York and Los Angeles. After retiring from acting,
she worked as a conference coordinator and later as a personal assistant to the
internationally renowned artist, Sam Francis. In 1996 she graduated summa from
UCLA with a BA in political science. She is currently a graduate student at
Indiana University. Her area of study is Chinese thought, in particular,
Confucianism. Her paper "The Falun Gong: Beyond the Headlines" was delivered at
the American Family Foundation Annual Conference in 2000 and was later published
in Cultic Studies Journal: Psychological Manipulation and Society v.17
2000. Her article, "The Chemistry of a Conflict: The Chinese Government and the
Falun Gong" was published in Terrorism and Political Violence.
