Robert Jay Lifton, M.D.

 

Robert Jay Lifton, M.D. is Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry and Psychology and Director, Center on Violence and Human Survival, John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Graduate Center, City University of New York.  Dr. Lifton has written many books and professional articles, including Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism, The Nazi Doctors, and Destroying the Word to Save It.  (rjlifton@jjay.cuny.edu)
