Jenny Hunter is a former
member and leader in the
International Churches of Christ.
She was recruited in her senior year
at Georgetown University before
spending 12 years in leadership in
Northern California. She left in
2004 and spent two years focused on
her own recovery. In October of 2006
she founded a nonprofit organization
"The Alliance for Cult Recovery and
Education" (ACRE). ACRE's mission is
to educate the public about cult
mind control and raise money to help
ex members get help in every area of
rebuilding their lives. She
presently lives in the Washington DC
area.
