Danielle Glixon entered Kids of North Jersey in October 1995 at age 15 and
remained there until September of 2001. She is currently 25 and has been away
from the organization for over three years. She was subjected to physical and
mental abuse, including being restrained by other members and being ignored for
several weeks at a time. She was allowed only limited contact with her father
and was not allowed to speak to her mother for over five years. She is
recovering from those scars today and is learning to make decisions in her own
life.
