ICSA Membership

Become an ICSA Member

If you are not sure whether you are an ICSA member, first read the information below; then e-mail, fax, or call us, if you are still uncertain.

If you donated $75 or more during the past year, you should be a current member.  Conference registration fees or purchases for books/videos/reprints do NOT count as membership, unless membership is specifically listed as a benefit of registration.  If you have only donated an amount necessary for a subscription to Cultic Studies Review (see the last bullet below), you are NOT a member; you are a subscriber. Membership includes the journal, but journal subscription alone does not constitute membership.

We try to contact lapsing members regularly, so if your membership has lapsed, you should have heard from us.

Here are the benefits associated with various levels of membership and with subscriber status:

  • Members receive the ICSA e-Newsletter, conference discounts, Cultic Studies Review (print and Web editions), and access to ICSA’s e-Library, containing over 12,000 articles, books, links, and videos. - $75/yr.

  • Supporters receive Member benefits and the print edition of the ICSA e-Newsletter and complimentary copies of books published by ICSA - $100 - $999/yr.

  • Patrons receive Supporter benefits and, when feasible, personal reports on ICSA’s achievements and plans, either at conferences or other scheduled times. - $1,000/yr. and above

  • Student Members (full-time) receive the ICSA e-Newsletter, Cultic Studies Review (Web edition), and access to ICSA’s e-Library - $25/yr.

  • Subscribers receive the Cultic Studies Review, without the additional benefits of membership. A Web-only subscription is $25/yr. A Web plus print subscription is $45/yr. (U.S.), $55/yr. (Canada/Mexico); $65/yr. (other countries).  Subscribers are not members, but membership includes a journal subscription.

We thank you for supporting ICSA and hope that you will continue to reaffirm that support in the future. Your membership in ICSA underscores your belief that the growing ICSA network is and will continue to be vital to providing information and support to the many thousands of people harmed by cultic groups every year.

Thank you.
