articles, book reviews, profiles, books, and (later) videos relevant to that particular
group, topic, or study guide (e.g., legal).
Our
philosophy statement briefly articulates core propositions that guide our
approach to information.
Study guides include specially selected collections for
families, former group members, and other types of inquirers. If you
are new to this field, this is the place to begin.
If,
for example, you are a journalist, click on the press collection.
Researchers and graduate students should examine the research and the academic
disputes and dialogue collections. High school and undergraduate students should
review the student collection. Other study guides consist of abridged collections of topics on which we have
information or that have special
importance.
Clicking on "topics" brings
you to a list of several dozen
topics relevant to this field. Clicking on a listed topic will bring you
to a page that lists articles, book reviews, profiles, books, and videos
relevant to that topic.
Clicking on "groups" bring you to the group index page.
This page provides general background information, including several caveats, and an a-z list. To find
information on a specific group, click on the letter corresponding to the
group's name. This will bring you to a list of groups beginning with that
letter. Clicking on the name of a specific group will bring up a page that
will list articles, book reviews, profiles, books, and videos relevant to that
group.
Use the "search" function on the group index page to find out if our
e-Library has information on a group that might not yet have an index page on
this site.
Clicking on "profiles" brings you to a
profile index page.
This page is your portal to finding information on many of the people within the
ICSA network and on organizations active in this field. Profiles are
organized by last name, geographic location, and professional discipline. You
can, for example, examine the profiles of our list of mental health
professionals, legal professionals, researchers, etc.
